Week Twelve

This week consisted of deep thoughts and personal revelations brought on by intense studying of God’s Word. Alongside (and compared to) His Truth I read early written works such as the book of Enoch. I will do some more research regarding his book as the time allows…

It seems that there are some contradictions regarding the lineage of Enoch, as Adam’s son Seth was born after Cain murdered Abel, yet both Seth and Cain are recorded as forefathers to Enoch in the Holy Bible. Maybe there were two Enochs as well as two Lamechs… Go figure… I’ll include the following passages (NKJV) that mention their names.

Genesis 4:17-18 And Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch. And he built a city, and called the name of the city after the name of his son — Enoch. To Enoch was born Irad; and Irad begot Mehujael, and Mehujael begot Methushael, and Methushael begot Lamech.

Genesis 5:3-
And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
After he begot Seth, the days of Adam were eight hundred years; and he had sons and daughters. So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.
Seth lived one hundred and five years, and begot Enosh. After he begot
Enosh, Seth lived eight hundred and seven years, and had sons and
daughters. So all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years;
and he died. Enosh lived ninety years, and begot Cainan. After he begot
Cainan, Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and had sons and
So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.
Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel. After he begot
Mahalalel, Cainan lived eight hundred and forty years, and had sons and
daughters. So all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten
years; and he died. Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and begot Jared.
After he begot Jared, Mahalalel lived eight hundred and thirty years,
and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Mahalalel were eight
hundred and ninety-five years; and he died. Jared lived one hundred and
sixty-two years, and begot Enoch. After he begot Enoch, Jared
lived eight hundred years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days
of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years; and he died.

Genesis 5: 21-24 Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot
After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

1 Chronicles 1:1-4 Adam, Seth, Enosh, Cainan, Mahalalel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Luke 3:37 the son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalalel, the son of Cainan,

Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, "and was not found, because God had taken him"; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Jude 1:14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,

From the Book of Enoch, Chapter 37:1-2 The second vision which he saw, the vision of wisdom -which Enoch the son of Jared, the son of Mahalalel, the son of Cainan, the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, saw.

Enoch was one of the early patriarchs of the Old Testament, predecessor to Noah and Methuselah. The oldest man mentioned in the Bible was Enoch’s son, a recipient and keeper of his father’s revelations who relayed it to future generations. The topics of his revelations include the last days and the great tribulation.

To Methuselah’s son Lamech, Noah was born and (according to the book of Enoch) caused great fear in his father who beheld his newborn baby’s countenance full of radiant light, unlike the appearance of a normal baby. Noah was one of the few righteous men left on earth at that time who found favor in the eyes of God.

I read the book of Enoch alongside Genesis for discernment’s sake, in order to spot inconsistencies. What I found out was simply amazing. The information that the two books do share is consistent, regarding the biblical events that took place before and during the days of Noah, including the "translation" of Enoch. He and Elijah were the only humans (in the physical) taken up by God, an event which Bible describes as being translated. But the book of Enoch also sheds light to many mysteries of creation, explaining the courses of celestial bodies, earthly calendar, etc., all the while glorifying God the Omnipotent. This extensive 108-chapter book gives detailed accounts of what took place on earth as well as heaven in the early days (we are still dealing with the consequences). For example, one will learn what resulted from angelic beings impregnating the daughters of men, thus causing the judgment of God to be executed on the whole earth.

Truly, these days we live in are such as the days of Noah. As those fallen angels taught the early people secret knowledge such as astrology, enchantments, divination and different forms of idol worship forbidden by God, the very same demonic forces are teaching the present generation about the hidden mysteries of old. This is happening through an ever increasing access and acceptance of different religions, practices and philosophies, all combined in a great cultural mixing bowl of globalism… I came to realize that the very essence of today’s entertainment industry (including the internet and other medias) is in fact image worship based on occult that one day will face severe judgment from Almighty God. Even my passion toward art is a form of worshiping a graven image that God forbids in His first two commandments. Same could be said about other luxuries we Christians hold so dear, such as fancy church buildings, events that are clearly meant to be enjoyed in the flesh, and today’s "norm" of pursuing and idealization of personal wealth and prosperity. When one considers the poor and persecuted Christians in countries such as China or the continent of Africa, and the true fruits of the spirit that is revealed in their sufferings for Christ’s sake (please read Jesus’ sermon on the mount), things are put in a new perspective!!!

I have given a lot of thought to what I have previously written on this blog. My conscience is tender due to a possibility that I may have stirred up an unhealthy interest toward paranormal phenomena in someone reading my blog. Despite the fact that the internet has an easy access to any such topic, I am responsible for conveying my own concepts and opinions regarding the supernatural. Reading about my earlier spiritual misconceptions (with increased understanding provided by the Holy Spirit) I feel a strong conviction to warn people about satanic deceptions. They come in many forms, appearing so beautiful, desirable and filled with knowledge that they can easily take over and start ruling persons intellect. Compared to such otherworldly knowledge, manifestations and influence on one’s mind, the beautiful and simple message of the Gospel may seem rather ignorant. And so it is, foolishness to the "wise" whose minds are filled with knowledge of either demonic or carnal origin. But the answer is simple, it is in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer.

There is power in the blood. Saving, protecting, healing power. Jesus’ blood never fails.

Once again, as I was retiring to bed and opened my Bible, Lord gave me these comforting words from Luke 10:17-24;
Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name." And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions,
and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means
hurt you. "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the
spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are
written in heaven." In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said,
"I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden
these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes.
Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. "All things have been delivered to Me by My Father,
and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father
is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him." Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see; "for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what
you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have
not heard

Weeks Ten and Eleven

Week ten was my last week at work. It was also a week of tumult and disturbances at the shelter, everyone was going nuts around me, or so it seemed. Kids were acting up more than usual, picking up pieces of furniture, chairs, lamps, etc. fighting each other, accusing, cursing -and I was doing my best trying to be the peacemaker. Police was called to intervene in the altercations, on several occasions during some days… of A window was busted by a frustrated teen. The youngsters were threatening each other as well as staff and there was a non-stop flow of incident reports written by the youth care staff. Someone else gave their two-week notice, another one considered doing the same. I was relieved – at least I was staying ahead of the game…

I stayed extra few days because a new hire had changed his mind and there was no immediate replacement. The hiring process is a long ordeal with extensive background checks, drug screenings etc. It takes about a month before all that clears, and then you have to do hours and hours of training, CPR and first aid etc. in the course of the following weeks and months. It’s really a pain.

During my last shifts I was working on a new song book for Upper Room, using all the resources available. It will include many more songs and will be much fancier than the last one I made. Love to do that stuff! I used to be a layout artist at a local paper oh, so long ago… It’s still in my blood. I also have a brand new easel (of great quality) that my dear hubby gave to me for Christmas along with a set of oil paints. Hope my inspiration comes once I get all the loose ends fixed up! And there’s a lot of those. Whew…

There was a lot going on around the shelter regarding also the spirit activity. Yet I seemed to be immune to it. Wow, hallelujah, thank You Lord! Dem buggers had zero authority over me (and I reminded them of the fact that I was covered and protected by the blood). I had a victorious week despite everything that was taking place. Ain’t it great, having the peace that passes all understanding! Thank You Jesus!

The supervisory staff, in attempt of trying to get rid of the troublemakers, ticked off a social (under HRS) agency that is a major contributor for the shelter. They’re no longer bringing in kids according to brother L, who is now transporting them all over the state to other shelters/group homes. Hmm, I wonder what the future holds?

I’ve been fasting, some days more serious than others. Tuesday we were fasting and praying over a big enemy, cancer. It has affected so many people lately, even in our churches. I drank only water for a 24 hour stretch. It was pretty easy, since I had already been fasting. Earlier during the week my fasting was kind of half-hearted so there probably wasn’t much benefit from it.

Wednesday’s Bible study was good as always, though many did not attend. It was my last day at work as well. I was finally free from that yoke, All right Daddy, YEAH! I wonder what You might have in store for me next…

I had a hard time getting back to a regular schedule. Funny, I sleep less now that I’ve quit. It’s hard to sleep when you’re used to staying up night after night. I have so much catching up to do, mountains of laudry, ton of clutter to clear, etc. etc. And the song book needs to be finished, as I’m borrowing a spiral binding machine from J’s work. All in good time, I guess. Friday (yesterday) was really cool at the Upper Room, boys played three hours straight. Awesome! Although I felt a switch from being in the spirit towards enjoying it in a more fleshly way… That made me wonder and I was somewhat perplexed upon returning home.

Brother L. had a good report, almost in tears he announced that he had been without pain5 days straight! Praise God! I know he’s been in much pain for over a year now. Brother J. reminded us of last Sunday night when had a mercy seat set in front and people were being prayed and and laid hands upon, it was a night of powerful prayers and praise. Brother S. came to pray over me, surprising me in a good kind of way! Bless him Lord, and the lady he brought along. She seemed very full of Your Holy Spirit.

I had a dream months ago of a brother praying over my oldest son, who was pretty shaken by it in my dream. I then wondered if it was brother S, but I did not know him very well back then.

Last night around five (well, it’s almost morning now, I take forever typing my entries) I woke up with another gloom-and-doom dream. I’m not sure where I was, but not too far from Russia, as I was among several people in a shack of a building. It was a very big building, though, but the walls had holes in them. We were mostly inside, stepping out at times, looking up in the sky. I felt a very intense anticipation all around me. Everyone was filled with fear, knowing that something was coming upon us (from Russia’s direction) and we could find no shelter to protect us from what was coming. I sensed that the threat was either nuclear or chemical. Was there enough time to run from it – no…

I’m feeling sick to my stomach, so I’ll wrap up now. My princess was sick yesterday, I hope I’m not catching it.

Week Nine

Thank You Lord for sustaining me all throughout this week!
I haven’t been ready yet to start fasting but will begin today (Sunday) which begins as my last week working at the shelter. Some more convictions have taken place and there is a feeling of urgency. Uh-oh, the doomsday bells are ringing in my ears again…

Friday night I was dreaming. Our family was enjoying a beautiful sunny day at the beach, children playing in the sand, my husband and older children basking in the sunlight. Oddly, we were surrounded by tv screens that covered the view and kept my family from seeing past them. I was standing up, observing the area. There was a camp of men next to us that caught my attention. I was horrified when I saw that they were nude and involved in all kinds of lewd sexual acts. Around them I saw art of all kind, very lavish and expensive-looking works, statues, paintings and such.

All this was happening out in the open, only my family was unaware of anything. Groups of people walked past these men, and I heard them express their disgust of what they saw, yet not very loud, and they passed by and continued on their way. I turned to my family, urging them to collect their things, as it was time for us to leave. We had a beautiful little baby with us also, I was holding him at this point. As my family started preparing to leave, so did the people next to us. A few of them came over, they were now dressed in expensive suits and looked well groomed, only I saw beneath the clothing (as if their shame was exposed). They were cooing at the baby, expressing how beautiful he was, wanting to hold him. Everyone seemed to go along and soon they were holding the baby, doting on him. I was extremely uncomfortable and just wanted to leave.

That’s when the dream ended, with me waking up and hearing these words from the Lord: Why continue walking in uncleanness when judgment is at the door?

That was very convicting to me, and I told the dream to my husband. He thought that it might be just my subconscience talking, after all, I had been brought up in faith that saw nothing good in different forms of entertainment, or artistic expression of any kind. Everything was banned. He agreed that tv is becoming too important to our kids, but so are the computers, would I be willing to live without the internet too? Hmm, something to consider… That would end this blog writing, too. I was disappointed when they brought the "dish" Direct tv into the house, that happened after B. and M had it installed to the trailer. My little ones were immediately hooked on cartoon channels, and so B along with my hubby decided to order it for the house as well. Without asking me. We used to be a tv-less family for about eight years, not wanting to pollute our kids minds. All that ended when the "idiot box" was brought back while the kids and I were visiting in Finland. I had lost a baby boy in mid-term of my pregnancy and the trip was very therapeutic and beneficial in many ways. But to my dear hubby and oldest son it was lonely and boring without mom and the younger children, gone for nearly seven months… After coming back to a bigger house (the old one was too tiny, so we figured dad and our son would work on selling the old, buying a new house while we were overseas). Lord blessed us in the process, our old house was sold and the new one bought, both within two weeks! My husband went back to working as a higher end electronics salesman, and as a result, his yearly income nearly doubled. His previous work was providing churches etc. assistive listening equipment. We were spiritually very blessed by serving God’s family.

That time in our family life was wonderful, even though there was no $$$ in it and for a long time we were getting by on $300/week which is amazing for a family of 5 or 6! Yet God always provided, and I learned valuable lessons on being thrifty. We traveled throughout the state of Florida, as my husband was demonstrating his equipment in different churches and denominations, weekend after weekend. We enjoyed traveling with him from town to town, it was fun for our kids also. They learned good lessons in patience on those long road trips. What we parents learned, was that there are God’s children everywhere, just under different names. This was directed by Lord God, to help us past (if I may say) our somewhat "warped" backgrounds (both came from very exclusive religious sects).

Ok, back to present time. Last weekend was somewhat draining, after Friday’s service I spent half a night worrying and praying about my partner and another staff member going out drinking again. They were finally brought back by a nice police officer who could have arrested B. for DUI, but allowed the girls to leave their car at a gas station and drove them home instead. Thank God, because B. could not afford another conviction. The one she needs is from God Himself! We discussed faith. She feels there’s nothing wrong with partying on weekends. Or not attending church, her relationship with God is A o.k. according to her. We talked about establishing a closer relationship with Lord, which would help her get rid of some extra baggage and draw strength, and she agreed (I think, maybe, reluctantly).

That was Saturday, and I was encouraged by the fact we addressed those issues. At night, my daughter wanted to spend the night in the trailer with B, and I allowed her to stay after B. told me she wasn’t going anywhere. Around 2:30 am my little girl came back inside the house which made me wonder, so went inside the trailer. There was no-one around but on the counter I saw a roach of a joint and the place stunk! I was so disappointed that I sat down and wrote a letter to B. stating my concern for her spiritual condition and that she may have to relocate sooner if those kinds of activities are taking place at my home and property. In the past, there have been some unwelcome visitors, so I did not know what to think… I did express how I love her to soften up the message. What to do… Lord please help fix this situation.

Sunday, I learned that it was her boyfriend from Miami who had come over and left the joint there. He wrote me a letter of apology, poking fun of religion and offering to fix me up with some the next time he comes to visit (just kidding, ha ha). Oh well, I let it go but was a little discouraged when I received his letter after our family morning church service. At the Upper Room that night I cried my eyes out and felt much better after telling my dear Christian friends about the whole thing. At work that night, we talked about it with B. again, it was a good, heartfelt discussion.

This week has been victorious, as I have not experienced any more visitations from the spirit realm.
I think the fact that I finally asked my out-of-body topic to be "locked" helped me. Although I made several statements of my faith on that forum, locking up the journal finally did the trick. I hope that will be it. Period. No more OBE’s… I remember the one I had shortly after being baptized. I met a rather agitated spirit entity, and when I asked what his problem was, he stated: "immersion."

I added another link to my blog, a New Ager’s testimony. Her website provides insight to many kinds of deceptions people entangle themselves in, resulting from getting involved in sorcery. (This lady saw the same entity during her out of body experience as the the one who was taking off with me that night).

At the shelter, there’s always plenty going on during full moon, yet during this one I have been totally at peace. Praise God! My partner experienced some phenomena though. I hope things don’t escalate for her as I leave the job. I am praying and fasting this last week, seeking God’s guidance and direction as what to do next. For now my task is getting my family back on track with school, home and faith. Daddy direct us please!

Daddy, we ask your healing touch for brother L. who is going through another ordeal tomorrow. Let it be his last one Lord, make him whole! He is your valuable servant, Lord. Heal him fully for Your Glory!
